Kelly Pinkham
Kelly Pinkham is the
Assistant Director of the Center for Full Employment and Price Stability (CFEPS)
based in the department of economics at UMKC. He has held this position at UMKC
for nearly four years. While at UMKC Kelly has attained his masters degree, has
presented several papers at academic conferences and has co-authored a published
journal article. Through UMKC's Bloch School of Business and Public
Administration, he was selected for the Kauffman Foundation's Entrepreneur
Internship Program where he provided considerable assistance to the
Guadalupe
Center
in obtaining a two-million dollar Department of Labor - Employment Training
Administration grant. In addition, Kelly has been a field research investigator
utilizing ethnographic research methods for NIH-NIDA funded research projects in
both Denver,
CO,
and Kansas City, MO. One of his responsibilities at CFEPS is coordinating a
Community Service program for the economics department faculty. This program
has resulted in over 1,200 hours of service provided to more than 80 local
Kansas City
non-profit organizations in the past three and one-half years. |
